The Hero by Gilbert Emery at Bristol Valley Theater

In collaboration with the Naples Historical Society and the Naples Library, BVT will present a staged reading of The Hero by Gilbert Emery on October 24^th at 2pm. Emery, born in Naples in 1875, made Naples history when this play opened on Broadway in 1921. Both the Historical Society and the Library will offer additional enrichment programs in October highlighting Emery's life and career, including a showing of one of his many screen appearances. The reading will feature a cast of noteworthy locals, including Blanche Warner, Linda Starkweather, Patrick Elwell and Andrea Hotelling Leach.
