Tested: The State of Education
The Chamber is excited to welcome Canandaigua City School District Superintendent, Jamie Farr, Finger Lakes Community College President, Dr. Rob Nye and Keuka College President Amy Storey to this timely conversation.
These leaders will offer ‘cradle to career’ insights into how remote learning, social distancing, pooled testing, vaccination clinics and other responses to the COVID19 pandemic have affected the student, staff and family experience in public schools as well as commuter and residential colleges. Moderated by Michelle Pedzich, Chamber chair-elect and ten-year school board member, this dialog will offer value to parents, students, friends and employers.
Few systems have been tested more rigorously during the pandemic than our Education System. One of the reasons we’ve called these panelists together is to publicly applaud their institutions’ work and offer our support as a community. If you have questions about the State of Education or just want to share in the recognition of the people who provide education, stability and purpose to learners of all ages in our community, join us on the 4th!
Those who register will receive the Zoom credentials by email the week of the event.
