Professional Women of the Finger Lakes

The Women of Distinction Awards is a program sponsored by the Professional Women of the Finger Lakes for more than twenty years. The awards recognize, encourage and celebrate outstanding women who have made a significant impact and demonstrated excellence in one of four categories. 

• Entrepreneurial 

• Professional Achievement                

• Volunteer Service 

• Women Helping Women 

The awards dinner will take place May 23rd, 2023 at The Canandaigua Country Club Event Barn and includes a program that highlights each nominee and keynote address.  In addition to that we will award and recognize our annual scholarship recipients.  Over many years, we have awarded in excess of $100,000 in scholarships.  Our main sources of funding are this event and the strong partnership that we have with the Canandaigua Athena Program.

Ultimately, the Women of Distinction Awards will help increase the notoriety of the women in our area that exemplify true leadership and civic responsibility. We hope to see you at this uplifting and inspiring event!
