Mansion Mysteries will be held at Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park on Saturday, 10/25/14 from 7-9 pm. Come sleuth out a live whodunit, circa 1913! Guests can sample light refreshments or savor sips of selections from our cash wine bar (non-alcoholic options available). Then its time to settle in for the live theatrical drama. Guests will have opportunity to mingle with the actors and ask questions of those under suspicion. Guests are also welcome to attend in costume. All actors will be appearing in period attire. Advance reservations are required as this popular event often sells out. Gates open at 6:30 pm each night, allowing time for guests to park at the Main lots and board rotating tram shuttles to the historic Mansion. Admission is $24/adult, $20/Sonnenberg Members and youths (ages 12-18). This year we are pleased to offer the play, "The Big Smear" by Joanne Vanderven, Wendy Hubert, and Glen Wyand. This 3-act mystery is set in 1913 Canandaigua - a time of looming Prohibition, active Suffragette movement and opposition to male-only vote to incorporate Canandaigua into a city Plus add in a world-famous opera singer visiting Mary Clark Thompson at Sonnenberg and a "Downton Abbey" flair to the "house help" to make it very exciting play.
