"LocalMotive Art" at Twisted Rail Brewing Company, featuring Don McWilliams
Twisted Rail Brewing Company is proud to welcome a fresh body of work in the "LocalMotive Art" series at their 20 Pleasant Street tasting room. Drawings and paintings by Canandaiguan, Don McWilliams, will be showcased through Sunday, May 10, 2015 with a reception for the artist on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4-8 pm. In addition to the delicious brews on tap, Twisted Rail will be introducing tastings of products crafted by Home Town Brew Distillery, including mini cocktails and straight tastings. Don McWilliams is a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Buffalo State College and Nazareth College of Rochester. He has taught art in public schools in Canandaigua and in the Hudson Valley. Don has also lived and worked in numerous international school settings, including Egypt, Ecuador, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and China. Many of his works are inspired by his years spent living and traveling abroad. Now that Don is once again making his home in Canandaigua, he is inspired to portray the unique beauty of the Finger Lakes. His realistic work is rendered in a variety of media, such as charcoal, pastel and watercolor.
